Every year when the New Year is born, we are all ready to welcome the grand festival of Tamil Nadu, 'Pongal'. In villages, people cook Pongal (a sweet dish made of rice, dhal and jaggery) outside their house facing the sun. They offer salutations to Sun God and seek his blessings for the wellbeing of the entire world.
This year, I want to felicitate the Sun God by giving Him a ride in my Kolam at the entrance to my house.
