Sharada Nair is a School Counsellor, CBT Therapist, and Counselling Supervisor, with 25 years of active practice in the field of Mental Health. From a Medical and Psychiatric Social Work background, the 8 years before this was spent actively involved in being a part of the Indian Naval family, volunteering in any capacity called for. Case coordinator for Children of the World, Mumbai; Counsellor and Social Service coordinator for The Scholar High School, Colaba and St Xavier’s Boys Academy, Mumbai; Treasurer, Naval Wives Welfare Assn, Port Blair; Scrutiny Officer-Adoption, ICSW, Chennai; are some of the roles she has held in the early years.
Presently (and for the last 18 years), School Counsellor, Sishya School, Adyar, she is also a part of the EC of IAPS and one of the founding members.
