Suddenly a thought arises as to why humans want to be greater/superior than other humans. This leads me to think about how an individual was born: a single sperm out of millions of sperms reaches the ovum by driving faster and beats the other sperms. This might be the reason why this basic instinct has been stored in our thought process and grown further to become a basic/natural behaviour in human beings.
The aim of a sperm is to move further than the others, and keep moving, until it reaches its goal (ovum) which means it does not care about other sperms. This might be a reason for conflicts between siblings, even though they are born to the same mother.
Our ancestors created rules and regulations for humans to live as a society by understanding such basic instincts. Despite these rules, this “BASIC INSTINCT WINS” is in nearly every aspect of our life, in greater and greater proportions.
