I am a multi-tasker. I hold different faces - as a Business woman, Psychologist, Yoga trainer and Homemaker. As a Business woman, taking care of the accounts department of our business, there was no specific impact on my work due to the pandemic. But as a Psychologist the pandemic had a great impact as I have started online counselling and volunteered for Covid patients with the Salem Collector’s team. I got more clients through online counselling, gained experience and have grown well in this field.
Similarly, as a yoga trainer, I started online classes and grew in this field also. But as a homemaker I struggled to take care of family members as everyone was at home. There was more kitchen work which I don’t like too much, but I enjoyed spending time with my family members.
I also took up one more task of being in charge of the CCF Treasurer Post and since then I have been enjoying that work also.
My life has been uplifted, especially in my career after the pandemic. I also learned a lot through online workshops in this pandemic period, and I am much busier now than before pandemic.
I believe in self-love. So, I always spend a certain amount of time doing some things I enjoy, like dressing up and cooking for myself. I also enjoy my time and work with my YouTube Channel team, a group of psychology professionals. I am a nature lover and prefer to be outside. During this period, I was not able to go out much. I used to talk with my friends to keep myself emotionally safe. I do meditation and Pranayama. I enjoy walking on the terrace. These are some things that helped me stay grounded during the pandemic.
